Britton Schlotz - Mechanical Engineer with Varied Experience

Putting his mechanical engineering degree from Auburn University to use, Britton Schlotz has excelled in several positions at Schlumberger, a worldwide provider of oil field technology. Most recently serving as a supplier manager in Sugar Land, Texas, Britton Schlotz ensured that vendors deliver products and services on time at a reasonable price. In addition, he monitored carbon emission goals of suppliers and managed supplier contracts.

Prior to this post, Mr. Schlotz oversaw $280 million in annual spending and decreased vendor cost rises by 3 percent. Earlier as a resource planner, he managed equipment allocation and personnel assignments in five regions. Schlumberger promoted Mr. Schlotz from a technical sales engineer position, where he enabled real-time data distribution for vendors around the globe. Joining the company in 2013 as a field engineer in Alaska and Texas, he led a team of six employees and brought in $35 million in direct revenue.

Mr. Schlotz has been certified a Six Sigma Black Belt and as a Python programmer by the University of Michigan. He supports mission trips for his church, has volunteered with the Food Bank of Alaska, and maintains membership in the National Alliance on Mental Illness. In his spare time he enjoys nature, sports, and writing code.
